Paris Kampanelas grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire but has been in Massachusetts since receiving her training from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. She was a dual major in both Vocal Performance and Music Education. Mrs.Kampanelas has been teaching here at The Gibbons for the last 19 years.
Currently she holds memberships with the MENC(Music Education National Conference) and NE/AOSA (New England American Orff Schulwerk Assocation) while attending Saturday workshops with other music educators from across the Massachusetts area.
In 2012 Mrs. Kampanelas was named Elementary Teacher of the Year by The VFW Michael Romanuk Post #1645 in Stoughton for her dedication with teaching citizenship and Musical History for all the Veteran's Day and Flag Day programs presented annually at the Gibbons.
Prior to returning to teaching in 1995 Mrs.Kampanelas owned and directed The Starline Room Dinner Theatre in Stoughton which boasts many current Producers, Actors in Broadway, Film and TV. Back in existence today after a ten year hiatus Mrs. Kampanelas produces and directs many musical shows such as Annie, Oliver, The King and I, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Bye Bye Birdie, The Music Man, Oklahoma and Seussical.
After school hours Mrs. Kampanelas owns and operates with her daughters The Starline Academy for the Performing Arts in Stoughton.
